Weekly Report 2021 w16,17
April 12. - April 24.
Words of the weeks - Realignment and Redefinition. The last two weeks could be well described as a blur, the process was slow but a lot of things happened. I've started working with a new client, we wrapped the collaboration with another. I'll design a logo for an artist I’ve worked with before on the DB project. My girlfriend and I had our friend over for a visit for a week and a lot of personal growth happened during this time for all of us. I've managed to figure out how to put my main drive in life into words, which is super beneficial to the project.
The month of April was dedicated to 'rethinking' the project, on which the next few months will rely. As the main aspect, I'm consolidating the core values and ambitions. These will show in the next version of the media such as Whitepaper/Website/Pitch deck. The next step is to develop exactly how this will manifest in the project for the people and for us as a company.
That's it for the theoretical part since the rest of it will be hands-on work. In order to be more effective in this, I've gotten myself a book "Radical Focus" that my friend Rok recommended to me. A known challenge of mine for a long time has been how to move from "thinking about it" to "putting in the work", and a lot of the time the problem was the focus.
At the same time, I need to maintain the influx of client work. I'm still maintaining the progress of the project with this and the goal is to get higher profile clients over the next couple of months. That endeavor will include updating the website, adding on the newest work and of course, make a lot of phone calls.
For this edition, I’ll leave out the Lessons, as these two weeks were more of a confirmation of what have I already learned. I want to keep the posts as means of tracking progress, not just to impress people. But I’ll make sure to do something this week that will make a worthy lesson for the next edition.
