Into Q2 2021 - Up A Notch
April 05. - April 10.
Realignment - Last week was busy with my client work, but the time was spent on realigning both my own values and the values of the project for the next quarter.
I'm putting in place that this quarter will be about "taking it up a notch". I will be more effective with my energy. I will be more selective about my time. I will take care of my health and the health of the project. My trades (with time, money, happiness, energy, relationships) will be net positive.
I don't expect this to be magically implemented in the first week, but I will keep this in my mind.
Overall I'm getting what Artjom meant when he replied to one of my e-mails - and some subsequent conversations - that "you and your project are (more-or-less) one and the same". At least until I'm the principally sole contributor (with the great support of others), all the work exists for the project, and in turn, my growth.
My whiteboard. I’ve written down keywords for the next quarter. Half of them I wrote down because they are fancy and I knew I’ll take a photo of the whiteboard afterwards. I still do intend to turn them into practice, though, so that’s fine.
"Taking it up a notch" thus, of course, stands for the project, too, and the rest of the paragraph above. I plan to enroll more people into what the project is, what it's bringing to the world, and I am going to make sure this is clear in my communication with the people and materials for communicating (website, pitch deck, whitepaper, etc.).
The project needs more people, more money, more connections, more audience. In great part some of these sound abstract in relation to the project, but I will lay a pathway for this to be a part of the experience in this quarter. It's going to be the next shift of "from theory into practice".
Of course, this involves a lot of work, but work alone isn't nearly going to cut it. With this in mind, working smarter is my primal direction for the quarter and when things won't work in my favor - it will still happen, I promise - I'll just learn.
