Weekly Report 2021 w06
Word of The Week: The Rest of the World. Even Band Project isn't separated from the rest of the world (in fact that's the last thing I'd want it to be). So, the week was dedicated to that.
Previous week, when I've started rolling out with full energy again, I've mainly taken care of catching up to what I haven't managed to before, including things unrelated to the project. I've made more progress on my website (www.rocketcoil.com) in just a few days than I've managed to in a few weeks before that.
I've had some calls for my off-band business matters that are now going to unfold in the following days or weeks. In other words, the week was dedicated to keep my life in order, which it will need to be until the band project starts to generate income one way or another. Still there was good progress done on the band project. I've worked out some of the wireframe for the pre-prototype, I've put together a demo animation for that same purpose, too; had a call with Artjom on the aspects of putting a team together and arranged a meeting with another local artist who's really excited about the project. A lot of this transfers into the next week and we'll see what comes of it then.
Lessons of the Week:
- The world doesn't wait. Band Project needs its focus, but it's not going to work if I do it at the expense of the rest of the world.
- The world is ready. I've only briefly mentioned the band project to the guy I've then scheduled a meeting with and he's been more excited about the idea than a vast majority of people I've talked to. It's crazier because he's initially contacted me for an entirely unrelated subject.
- The world also needs a non-band Klavdij. The band project is my main project right now, but even the band project benefits if I take care of the other areas, too.
- The world doesn't care what makes sense.
