Cashflow Challenge 2021 - [w20]

May 10. - May 15.

Word of the Week - To Drop It - Last week I was learning about unlearning what I already know, and it's definitely not over yet. There are views that I have about "everything". They aren't true.

Special NOTE - As announced in the last week’s report, I have made a deal with Artjom I’ll up my cashflow over 60 days. It’s already an intense experience, just over a week in. What’s more interesting is, what are the actions I’m taking and how my perception of the world is shifting as I’m going.

I've had quite some business conversations last week, one of the more notable was during a walk with my friend. There were a few insights, on the topic of what's a good business deal, how much creative energy goes into the simplest things; whether or not we market ourselves enough, and how much our pride is really protecting us and how much it's actually in the way.

I had a short but productive meeting for the band project and its future. It surfaced some questions about the company's vision and operation; some of them are already answered, some of them are not. Many of them, however, aren't written down yet. What I'm most excited about here is that the questions like these can only be asked once the project is ready enough. So I think I can assess that the project is in fact on a good trajectory.

The challenge that I'm turning into a skill right now is the following: How to communicate a certain level of trustworthiness from my side; staying humble, but still maintaining the energy of the potential. My intent with potential clients or investors, and everyone I am or will be working it is to be of service, with the promise that I'll do good for everyone involved - the client, their customers and myself.

Lessons:

- Some tasks just don't cover the time and energy required to produce. It's important to recognise which tasks are those.

- It is extremely beneficial to start the day powerfully, with velocity. Some physical activity (workout or a walk) that gets the blood going, and to tackle either a simple or a big task already makes the day. Then the rest of the day might likely solve itself.

- It's extremely hard, though, to turn all those lessons into habits. Not because it would be physically hard, but there's always this "I have to finish this first" thought on the back of my mind.

- If you keep working on it, it will come together.
