When You’re in Crypto

You Can be Anything

I need something.
I’m not sure what, but I need something.

That was a start of our collaboration.

Challenge: People need to recognize GoldHorn Crypto strategies as viable.

GoldHorn Crypto is based in Estonia, but founded by Slovenians. Many know Slovenia as one of the most progressive countries in Blockchain technology. Bitstamp, Iconomi, CargoX, GoCrypto, OriginTrail, and many more, are companies established by Slovenian tech heads. Slovenia has a Bitcoin Roundabout. A lot of Slovenia breathes and thinks and lives blockchain.

Marko has a long track record in the area of business finance. After spending years making money for people who already have too much, he recognized the sector for what it is, and moved into finances that serve others. Blockchain being designed as one of the most democratized ways of financing, he saw an opportunity to do something for everyone.

Crypto, however, has its own ways of communicating. It’s playful, but it’s serious. It’s filled with memes that hype an obscure cryptocurrency beyond the stratosphere - well, to the moon - overnight. It’s also no secret, that the crypto world is absolutely plagued with scams that promote “get rich quick” making our work an uphill battle. How do you make a compelling argument, that your product is backed by trustworthy education, field experience - and that you are, in fact, there for them?

Last but not least - We are inviting people to sign up to GoldHorn Crypto strategies on Iconomi. How do we let them know, that they really are getting “free money” by doing so?

Simply put, our conversion happens here. In the most subtle way possible.

Solution: It really is money.

We talked long and we talked honestly. There was nothing in way of us making something that talks truly what it is. GoldHorn Crypto is a project that aims to replace the half-obscured nature of banks and investment funds and puts savings in the hands of people. But it’s stable.

We need to communicate the stability and trustworthiness of legacy financing systems, and the accessibility and progress of new technologies.

Our first voucher was thus designed to look like a banknote, money. We have put elements on it that are more or less visible, some subtle and some very prominent. We’ve put Bitcoin signs in the corners to look like banknotes. On the other hand, we wanted it to feel “solid”, and we chose the thickest paper that’s not cardboard to print it on.

Really, you’re getting money. No joke.

The Experience of getting a Voucher

We also created the experience of the handover. We decided to treat the voucher how we treat real money.

“You don’t give it to just anyone, you talk about why you’re giving them money, and you do it with respect and for the most part, not really expect anything in return. You invite them to sign up for your strategy, but it’s not obligatory in any way. They are getting the money and after they get it, they are free to do with it however they want.”

In this way, we need the handover to be an experience of someone getting the money from a person they would want to trust the money to.

We created an envelope and put every voucher inside. All vouchers found their owners.
