Word of the Week - Is it going to be the Now or Never, or from Now until Forever?

In the last two weeks, I’ve spent time doing client work, had a meeting, and took a few afternoons helping around my parent’s place. The meeting was postponed two weeks ago and shows promise. I’m less happy with the fact that I had to take a bit more time than I intended for household matters.

We have arranged with TEDxLjubljana that we have a new person as a Creative and Design lead so I’ll be spending less energy there. My progress on the new presentation is moving and looking good. I’m sure it’s going to be a solid piece when it’s finished and that potential investors will like it. In the next few days I’ll specifically reserve time to finish it, because if I leave it on the “when I’m done with other things I’ll get to it”, it’s not progressing as fast as I want it to.

I have gotten a few more ideas for how to generate cashflow, but I will do more research on the market which one of these is worth the attempt. It’s this “testing out” that takes so much more time before I see what happens and it’s getting tiresome. I will need to find a way to iterate and test out in a shorter cycle.

July 8th is moving in fast. They say slow and steady wins the race, but right now I’m not sure whether I’m trying to be too fast, or whether am I even moving at all. I’m trying not to be intimidated by the deadline, and worry about it even before it’s happening - keeping the focus on where am I and what can I do right here, right now.

I’ve written this report the day before until here, and I’m wrapping it up today. In this moment, I feel that the words and report don’t mean anything unless the challenge is completed successfully. For this reason, I might withhold writing the reports until the end of the challenge.
